If you need website content updates, choose our Standard or Premium plan.

  • Basic: No content updates included. $79 per month.
  • Standard: 30 minutes of monthly content updates. $129 per month.
  • Premium: 60 minutes of monthly content updates. $179 per month.

How long do website content updates take? What about optimizing an article or page for SEO?

  • Adding one blog post that has already been edited and is ready to be added to the site takes about 10 minutes.
  • Adding one blog post that needs copy reviewed, edited, and optimized for SEO takes about 30 minutes.
  • Adding, removing, or making minor changes to an existing page takes about 10 minutes.

    • Yes, it’s essential to have these security updates run every week to avoid hacks or malware, which can lead to a risk for your customers and cause your site to be removed from Google’s index (if your site is affected).
  3. How is this different from my WPengine account?
    • We’ll be running WordPress hosting through our agency account at WPengine.
    • We still firmly believe that WPengine is the best WordPress hosting service in the business, and they’re based right here in Austin, Texas.
    • You’ll pay Garrett Digital for monthly service rather than WPengine.
    • We subscribe to a service to monitor your website 24/7 (every 5 minutes). The software alerts us so we can take action when a problem arises. We then contact WPengine support and solve any issues.
    • We check for and run WordPress software, plugins, and server software updates on a weekly/scheduled basis. We then test your site to ensure everything works as expected. If things aren’t working, we roll back to pre-update and investigate and solve the problem. The weekly updates keep your site up-to-date, safe, and secure. Time saved: 15 to 30 minutes per week.

  4. Do you offer phone help?
    • Yes, from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  5. What kind of help can I get by phone?
    • If your website has a technical issue, the time is not billed.
    • If you’re calling to give us instructions on updating your content, that is billed as part of your allotted time. The most efficient way to request content changes is via email.
  6. What if I already work with and pay you for ongoing SEO or Google Ads management or consulting?
    • You’ll still receive an invoice for those services on the first of each month, separate from your website hosting and maintenance plan.
  7. Are there any commitments or contracts?
    • Nope. It’s all month-to-month.
  8. Do I need to worry about my website going offline? Do you monitor that outside of business hours?
    • We monitor your website 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, and jump into action if there are issues.
  9. Can you preview content changes before you push them to my website?
    • Yes, every site gets a staging instance. This allows you to review and approve website changes before they go live.
  10. What if I go over the monthly time limit for content updates?
    • Small overages aren’t a big deal if they aren’t a regular occurrence. We value relationships over minutes. If you need more content updates than your plan has, you’ll be billed our hourly rate of $125 (in quarter-hour increments).
